Executive Assistant

Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies
Fort Collins, CO Full Time
POSTED ON 7/31/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 8/30/2026
Description

At Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies (OCR), we believe exceptional patient care starts with exceptional people — and exceptional leadership.

We are seeking a highly skilled, proactive, and relationship-driven Executive Assistant to support our Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer as we continue building one of the premier orthopedic organizations in the Mountain West.

This is not a traditional administrative role. This is an opportunity to become a trusted partner to an executive leadership team that is collaborative, forward-thinking, compassionate, and deeply committed to building something meaningful — for our patients, our physicians, and our employees.

The person in this role will help drive organizational effectiveness by ensuring our leaders are prepared, informed, organized, and positioned to lead strategically in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will sit at the center of communication, coordination, planning, and execution for key organizational priorities and initiatives.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

  • Naturally stays one step ahead
  • Anticipates needs before they arise
  • Thrives in fast-moving environments
  • Brings professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
  • Enjoys solving problems and creating order
  • Takes pride in supporting leaders and teams at a high level
  • Wants to be part of a culture that genuinely values people

At OCR, culture matters. We are working intentionally to become:

  • The Employer of Choice
  • The Patient’s First Choice
  • The Leader in Orthopedic Best Practice and Innovation.

That means we are looking for people who want more than just a job. We are looking for individuals who want to contribute, collaborate, grow, and help shape the future of our organization.

Requirements

What You’ll Do

In This Role, You Will

  • Partner closely with executive leadership to support strategic priorities and operational initiatives
  • Manage complex calendars, scheduling, travel, meetings, and executive logistics
  • Coordinate Board, leadership, and executive meetings including agendas, materials, minutes, and follow-up
  • Draft and manage executive communications, presentations, reports, and business documents
  • Track projects, deadlines, and organizational priorities to help maintain accountability and momentum
  • Support executive operations through proactive planning, organization, and workflow coordination
  • Serve as a key liaison across leaders, physicians, departments, and external partners
  • Help create a polished, organized, and service-oriented environment for executives, staff, and visitors

What Makes Someone Successful In This Role

The ideal candidate is:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Emotionally intelligent and professional
  • Calm under pressure
  • Proactive and solution-oriented
  • Adaptable and resourceful
  • Technologically proficient
  • A strong communicator and relationship builder
  • Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Experience supporting senior leaders in complex environments

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years of executive administrative support experience required
  • Seven (7) years supporting senior leadership or C-suite executives preferred
  • Healthcare or operational leadership support experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 proficiency required

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

  • Notary Preferred

Travel Requirements

Position requires acceptable motor vehicle driving history, valid and free from restrictions, and must have a valid driver’s license and appropriate vehicle insurance coverage. Ability to travel between all OCR locations.

Physical Requirements

The work environment is a typical office environment. The employee must be able to complete their work satisfactorily in an environment where there are significant distractions, including staff, patients, and vendors walking through and conversing, telephones ringing, conversations carrying over, loud noises, and interruptions to answer questions from others.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls up to 8 hours per day. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and should do so in a sound and safe manner. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Why OCR?

We are committed to creating a caring, collaborative, and high-performing culture where employees are supported both personally and professionally.
