Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Radiologic Technologist at our outpatient orthopedic clinic, based in Plant City, FL. The Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiologic technology, ensuring adherence to safety standards and maintaining compliance with radiation safety protocols. Daily responsibilities include preparing patients for imaging, operating radiology equipment, maintaining accurate patient records, and collaborating with staff and physicians to provide exceptional patient care.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Radiologic Technology and Radiography
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and adherence to professional standards
- Knowledge and application of Radiation Safety practices
- Understanding of medical and radiology-related terminology and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and medical staff
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- Previous experience in orthopedic or clinical settings is a plus
