Position Summary:
We are seeking a licensed and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic outpatient orthopedic team. The ideal candidate will work closely with our Physical Therapists to implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and ensure a safe and effective rehabilitation experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Physical Therapists in delivering prescribed treatment plans.
- Educate and motivate patients to perform therapeutic exercises correctly.
- Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area.
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies and state regulations.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Current PTA license in Illinois
- Previous experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
