Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant

Orthopaedic Institute of Dayton ("OID") is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for their outpatient therapy clinic in Dayton, OH.

Job Purpose:

Restores patient's function alleviates pain and prevents disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed physical therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized treatment plans under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and functional activities to improve mobility, strength, endurance, and overall function.
• Apply appropriate modalities and manual techniques to support recovery and pain management.
• Observe, measure, and document patient progress, and communicate updates and concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and safe movement strategies.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to a positive, professional, and supportive clinic culture focused on high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Valid Ohio Physical Therapist Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure).
• Outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary orthopedic setting.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a commitment to teamwork and professional growth.
