PRN Patient Care Technician
Job description
We are looking for a skilled .6-Night Shift, Patient Care Technician to join the OHOW team in our inpatient department. This position will have a set schedule of Tuesday-Friday 236-0730. Hospital experience is preferred but training available for the right candidate.
The position requires CNA & BLS certification. Hospital experience is preferred.
Core Responsibilities
- Aids in movement and placement of patients.
- Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
- Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Documents necessary records.
- Keeps patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintains medical equipment.
- Assumes other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Customer/patient service experience
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry
- BLS Certificate
