Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Physical Therapy Assistant located in Johnson Creek, WI. In this role, the Physical Therapy Assistant will support physical therapists in implementing treatment plans, assist patients with exercises and therapeutic activities, and monitor their progress. Additional responsibilities include preparing treatment areas, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient comfort during therapy sessions. The assistant will work closely with patients to help them recover and improve their physical capabilities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in assisting with physical therapy treatments, therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitation techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills for working closely with patients and providing compassionate care
- Organizational abilities to maintain clean and functional treatment areas and equipment
- Understanding of safety protocols and proper handling techniques
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program and current certification/licensure as required in Wisconsin
- Attention to detail and ability to document patient progress accurately
- Previous experience in a clinical or physical therapy setting is a plus
- Basic proficiency with health record systems and medical documentation
