Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an X-ray Technician located in Hollywood, FL.
We can provide part time or per diem positions as well.
The X-ray Technician will be responsible for operating radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic imaging, ensuring adherence to radiation safety protocols, and supporting physicians in assessing patient conditions. Additional duties include maintaining accurate records, preparing patients for imaging procedures, and providing compassionate care to create a comfortable patient experience.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with medical imaging procedures, Radiologic Technology, and proficiency in Radiology-related practices
- Knowledge of and commitment to Radiation Safety protocols and regulations
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Strong understanding of medical principles and practices related to orthopaedics
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals
- Active state license in Radiologic Technology is preferred
- Previous experience in a clinical or orthopaedic healthcare setting is a plus
