About the Role:
We are seeking a full time Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist I / Flex DME Tech to join our team with Advanced Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. In this role, you will be responsible for performing radiologic procedures and producing high-quality diagnostic images for our patients. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be critical to your success in this role. As a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist I, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care. We have 4 locations and some travel will be required between locations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid LMRT certification
- Current CPR
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Ortho
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
Responsibilities:
- Perform radiologic procedures and produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Ensure accurate and timely diagnoses by working closely with the medical team
- Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Provide exceptional patient care and ensure patient comfort throughout procedures
- Train in DME to become a Flex tech which includes casting, splinting, and fitting patients with medical equipment
Skills:
As a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist I, you will use your technical skills to perform radiologic procedures and produce high-quality diagnostic images. You will also use your communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with the medical team and ensure accurate and timely diagnoses. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are critical to success in this role. Additionally, familiarity with electronic medical records systems and experience working in a healthcare setting are preferred qualifications that will be beneficial in this role. Must have reliable transportation as travel will be possible.
