Position Overview
OrthoLazer Orthopedic Wellness Centers provide an innovative, drug-free, and non-invasive solution for managing acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain conditions. As a Laser Therapy Technician, you will administer MLS M8 Laser Therapy treatments to help patients reduce pain and recover faster.
This role extends beyond patient care — our Laser Technicians are integral to the growth of the business, actively contributing to operational improvements, patient experience, and strategic initiatives that drive the success of the clinic.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer MLS Laser Therapy treatments (2–3 per hour)
- Attend to patient needs and ensure the best treatment outcomes
- Promote a safe and organized treatment environment
- Maintain sanitary treatment areas
- Document patient progress notes thoroughly
- Educate patients on the principles and benefits of laser therapy
- Participate in ongoing education to stay current with laser techniques and science
Growth, Initiative & Business Development Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a high level of motivation, initiative, and ownership in both patient care and clinic operations
- Actively contribute to practice growth initiatives, including patient engagement strategies, referral development, and community outreach efforts
- Utilize downtime effectively to support business development projects, workflow optimization, and internal process improvements
- Assist in implementing and refining standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and patient experience
- Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities to increase patient conversions, retention, and satisfaction
- Support in-clinic and external initiatives that align with growing the OrthoLazer brand
- Participate in special projects and pilot programs aimed at improving clinic performance metrics
- Contribute ideas with a solutions-oriented mindset to drive continuous improvement across all areas of the business
Qualifications
- Certification or degree (completed or in progress) in a medical-related field (e.g., Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Athletic Trainer, Orthopedic Medical Assistant, or Personal Trainer preferred)
- Associate degree or similar in a medical field
- Experience with musculoskeletal conditions
- Prior patient care experience preferred
- Knowledge of anatomy and musculoskeletal system
- Proficient in computer systems and adaptable to new technologies
- Ability to stand for long periods

Pay
Compensation is based on experience, skill set, and progression within the role. New hires will begin at the lower end of the pay range during the training period. Upon successful completion of training and demonstration of the ability to work independently, compensation will be adjusted accordingly within the established pay range.
