Who We Are:

NCSY, a program of the Orthodox Union, connects with Jewish teens through innovative, cutting-edge social and recreational programs to develop a positive Jewish identity. NCSY inspires Jewish teens through informal Jewish education, retreats, and summer programs. NCSY empowers teens through leadership development and guidance to become passionately committed leaders of the Jewish community and instruments for positive change and renewal.

The Orthodox Union (OU) is one of the largest Orthodox Jewish organizations in the United States. Founded in 1898, the OU supports a network of synagogues, youth programs, Jewish and Religious Zionist advocacy programs, programs for the disabled, localized religious study programs, and international units. The OU maintains a kosher certification service, whose circled U symbol, Ⓤ, is found on the labels of many kosher commercial and consumer food products.

Position Summary:

NCSY is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to build and lead the organization’s national recruiting pipeline, identifying and securing the educators and leaders who will shape the next generation of Jewish teens. This role works closely with senior leadership to shape recruiting priorities and ensure that NCSY consistently identifies and secures high-impact talent.

Responsibilities:

National Recruitment Ownership

  • Keep a clear, up-to-date understanding of open roles, upcoming vacancies, and hiring needs related to organizational growth.
  • Drive hiring timelines and ensure positions are filled efficiently

Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development

  • Actively source candidates through networks, referrals, community relationships, and professional platforms
  • Build and maintain proactive recruiting pipelines for priority roles across NCSY
  • Maintain visibility of emerging talent for upcoming open roles
  • Develop long-term relationships with seminaries, yeshivos, campuses, and mission-aligned talent networks
  • Cultivate relationships with potential candidates

Field-Based Recruiting & Relationship Building

  • Travel regularly to build relationships and source talent in key communities and institutions
  • Attend conferences, recruiting events, and networking opportunities
  • Serve as an ambassador for NCSY’s mission and professional opportunities

Recruiting Partnerships & Channel Managers

  • Willingness to travel frequently for recruiting purposes
  • Familiarity with mission-driven or nonprofit organizations preferred

Salary & Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000, commensurate with experience.

Performance-Based Bonus:

Additional bonus compensation tied to recruitment outcomes, including metrics such as percentage of open roles successfully filled, time-to-fill benchmarks, and pipeline development for priority roles.
