- Weekdays: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Weekends: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Wilbraham:
- Similar weekday evening and weekend shifts upon opening
- Additional daytime shifts may be added based on volume

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated, dependable Medical Assistant to join our orthopedic urgent care team. In this per diem role, you will play an essential part in supporting patient care, preparing exam rooms, assisting providers, and helping maintain efficient patient flow at both practice locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room patients and document histories, vital signs, and chief complaints in the EMR
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure proper stock of supplies, splints, and casting materials
- Assist providers with orthopedic procedures including splinting, casting, injections, and wound care
- Remove sutures/staples, apply dressings, and fit patients with durable medical equipment (DME)
- Enter X-ray orders and escort patients to imaging
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment per infection control standards
- Assist with administrative duties including scheduling, scanning, and phone support
- Collaborate with clinical and front-desk staff to support efficient patient care
Qualifications:
- Previous MA or clinical support experience preferred
- Orthopedic or urgent care experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Basic EMR proficiency
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team
