Duties
- Support physical therapists by preparing treatment areas and assisting with patient positioning and mobility exercises
- Greet patients warmly, verify their identity, and assist with intake procedures to ensure smooth clinic flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy equipment and treatment spaces in compliance with safety standards
- Monitor patient comfort during therapy sessions, report any concerns or changes to the clinical team promptly
- Assist with documentation of patient progress, treatment notes, and session details under supervision
- Help manage inventory of supplies and ensure all necessary materials are ready for daily treatments
- Facilitate communication between patients and therapists to enhance overall care experience
Requirements
- Strong commitment to patient service and providing compassionate care to diverse populations
- Basic knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practice
- Previous hospital or clinic experience preferred, especially in inpatient or outpatient settings
- Familiarity with acute care, post-acute care, orthopedics, geriatrics, or sub-acute care environments is highly desirable
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and equipment management
- Prior experience working in hospital medicine or outpatient clinics is a plus
