About the Role:

The Warehouse Operations Department Manager I plays a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the daily operations within a wholesale trade environment. Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management within the wholesale trade industry or a similar sector.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving operational improvements.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory management, and logistics.
• Proficiency in using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with advanced data analytics tools and business intelligence software.
• Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Operations Management.
• Experience working in a multi-site or national operations environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the operations team to ensure smooth and efficient daily activities.
• Develop and implement operational procedures to improve productivity and quality.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales departments to align operational goals and support business growth.
• Monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and prepare reports to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Assist with budgets, control costs, and allocate resources effectively to meet operational targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
• Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to develop team capabilities.
