What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Attorney position at ORR | COOK?
Orr Cook is looking for an exceptional labor and employment associate to join our team. This position will provide the qualified candidate the opportunity to interact regularly with corporate clients to provide counseling and guidance on labor and employment matters. Additionally, the candidate will litigate and arbitrate a broad range of employment-related claims that include discrimination and harassment, non-competes, shareholder rights, breach of contract, tortious interference, whistleblowers, union grievances, and administrative claims. The candidate will also draft and review contracts, policies, handbooks, and other documents commonly used and/or relied upon by employers. The associate will report directly to a shareholder who focuses on labor and employment matters and will also work with other members of our team.
Skills and Qualifications: 1-5 years labor and employment experience preferred but we will train a qualified candidate who has general litigation experience. Candidate must have strong academics and be able to work both independently and with a team as needed, produce excellent written work product, communicate clearly, manage a diverse workload, present a professional image, and exercise good judgment in a broad legal practice.
Skills and Qualifications:
