Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner
Oroville Hospital is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Emergency Department team.
Our Emergency Department provides care for a diverse patient population with a broad range of medical, surgical, and traumatic conditions. Providers work collaboratively with emergency physicians, nursing staff, specialists, and hospital teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
* Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute and chronic medical conditions.
* Order and interpret laboratory, radiology, and diagnostic studies.
* Perform procedures within scope of practice.
* Develop treatment plans and coordinate patient care and disposition.
* Collaborate with physicians, consultants, and hospital staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
* Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic medical record.
Qualifications:
* Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
* Current California licensure.
* DEA registration.
* ACLS & BLS
* PALS preferred.
* Emergency Medicine experience strongly preferred.
