We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled Bartenders and Servers to join our dynamic team at Orosoko Sound Bar in South End. As a Bartender or Server, you will be responsible for crafting and serving beverages, engaging with and educating patrons, ensuring a memorable, luxurious experience and driving repeat business based on deep connections with our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and/or serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and lounge, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with guests, providing recommendations and ensuring satisfaction with their orders.
- Process transactions accurately using the Toast POS system, handling credit card payments efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, mixers and supplies
- Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible serving guidelines to ensure guest safety.
- Collaborate with the culinary team during busy periods to facilitate smooth service operations.
- Participate in special events such as banquets and buyouts as required.
- Uphold elevated standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Bartenders, approximately one year of experience in a fine dining or high volume craft cocktail setting is highly recommended.
- Charisma and presence to show command of your craft and control over the hospitality experience from start to finish. Bartenders MUST be precise with speed and consistency
- Bartenders must use proper bar tools, including jiggers for EVERY cocktail - no exceptions.
- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Proficient in time management and multitasking in a high-pressure environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential.
- Experience with POS systems (Toast POS) is HIGHLY PREFERRED.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and cocktail preparation is an advantage!
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, as late as 2am.

Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
