Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Construction Project Manager role located in Biloxi, MS. The Construction Project Manager will oversee all phases of commercial construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Responsibilities include managing project timelines, monitoring costs and change orders, ensuring quality and safety standards, and leading on-site project meetings. The role involves preparing and reviewing contracts and subcontracts, tracking progress reports, and resolving issues that may affect scope, schedule, or budget. The Construction Project Manager will support the development of strong partnerships with project stakeholders while maintaining clear, consistent communication throughout each project.
Qualifications
- Strong project leadership skills, including Project Management and Construction Project Management experience.
- Ability to coordinate complex activities across teams, demonstrating effective Project Coordination and Construction Management capabilities.
- Proficiency in Budgeting, cost control, and financial tracking for construction projects.
- Experience with scheduling tools, construction documents, and contract administration.
- Knowledge of commercial construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience managing commercial projects along the Gulf Coast or similar markets is beneficial.
- Relevant professional certifications (such as PMP or CCM) are a plus.
