2nd shift Production/Sanitation

Ornua Ingredients North America custom formulates and manufactures a complete line of pasteurized process cheese products. We are looking for a hardworking, fast paced and reliable employee to join our Production team!Wage:$18/hr 10% differential = $19.80, opportunity to increase with additional training 8% quarterly bonus opportunitySchedule:2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Monday - FridayDuties include but not limited to:Disassemble, clean, sanitize and reassemble production equipmentOpen barrels, block, or bags of cheese and other ingredientsWeigh the ingredients to the specified amount per individual batch sheetsUse knives and wires to cut and trim the ingredients to the correct weightsPlace bags of cheese into boxes and send through to get taped and boxedStack packed boxes of cheese onto a palletTransfer ingredients from the scale to the pick-up tablesHeavy lifting and the ability to load cheese into grinders is requiredMaintain a clean and safe work areasAll other duties as assignedQualifications Include:High school diploma or equivalent requiredSolid work history is a mustPrior food manufacturing experience preferred but not requiredMust be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time (10 hour days)Ability work with hands and to lift up to 50lbs repetitivelyKnowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices a plusBasic math skillsBenefits:Benefits starting day oneHealth, vision, and dental insurance (with 4 different plans to choose from)Quarterly bonusPaid Breaks (Production roles for full 40-hour week)80 hours of PTO accrual401k with up to 4% company matchEmployee Assist ProgramVarious company eventsPaid parental leaveEducation and training opportunitiesTuition Reimbursement programShort-term and long-term disability – paid by the companyBasic Life Insurance – paid by the company9 paid holidaysOrnua Ingredients North America is an equal opportunity employer.
