Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and communicative to join our front office team. In this role, you will be the critical link between our clients and our fabrication shop. Your primary responsibility will be analyzing customer requests, calculating material and labor costs, and generating accurate quotes for custom architectural signage and post systems. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, guiding them through the ordering process and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their signage needs, specifications, and project scope.
- Receive and review client requests, blueprints, and design specifications to accurately calculate material, labor, and overhead costs.
- Write, format, and deliver detailed, competitive quotes to clients in a timely manner, using sign estimating software.
- Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email. Answer questions regarding product capabilities, pricing, and order status.
- Act as a liaison between the client and our fabrication team to ensure project scopes, timelines, and technical requirements are clearly understood.
- Foster strong relationships with our wholesale clients to encourage repeat business and ensure total satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Prior experience in estimating, project management, or customer service—experience specifically within the sign manufacturing or architectural metals industry is highly preferred.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to accurately calculate costs and margins.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; a professional and friendly phone demeanor is a must.
- Proficiency with computers, including experience with estimating software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Experience with Cyrious software is a plus.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple quotes and client requests simultaneously.
