What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT School Librarian position at Orleans Central Supervisory Union?
Albany Community School is seeking a part-time librarian to join our school community for 20 hours a week! We are looking for someone to share their love of reading with our students. We have a wonderful library that students in fifth through eighth grade enjoy! We have a beautiful 50 acre campus that includes mountain biking trails with a pump track, a beaver pond for observations, and XC ski trails in the winter. Teachers enjoy using the land to enhance student learning. Our vision is, We strive to provide an environment where students will develop to their fullest. We live this by creating meaningful learning opportunities on our school grounds and in the community.The Orleans Central Supervisory Union is comprised of two school districts (Lake Region Union Elementary-Middle School and Lake Region Union High School) supporting six K-8 elementary schools, the Orleans Central Early Childhood Program, and Lake Region Union High School.Orleans Central Supervisory Union is located in the heart of the Northeast Kingdom which is known for scenic and rugged area of hills, sugarbushes, farmland and lakes.
