What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Tax Attorney position at Orlando Tax Law?
Associate Tax Attorney — High-Stakes IRS & State Tax Controversy
Orlando Tax Law is seeking a high-caliber Associate Tax Attorney with 1–10 years of experience to join our elite boutique firm. We are a high-end boutique law firm practicing only tax controversy and litigation, handling cases involving IRS audits, collections, Tax Court and District Court litigation, and state tax matters (Florida Department of Revenue and other states).
This is a role for an attorney who thrives on complex, high-stakes work and wants to be part of a firm that delivers excellence without burning out its people. You’ll immediately step into meaningful, challenging cases and also play a role in our intake process — meeting with qualified prospective clients (often same-day) to evaluate their cases and set the strategy from day one.
We keep caseloads manageable so we can work cases proactively and maintain the highest standards. This is not a 2,100-hour grind — our attorneys typically bill 1,600–1,800 hours annually while producing exceptional results and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
We value honesty, compassion, and excellence — and we want someone who’s in it for the long haul.
