Overall Job Responsibilities
Box Office Duties:
- Provide a welcoming and helpful environment for patrons, volunteers, staff, and visitors
- Disseminate event information across multiple platforms to patrons and staff
- Process subscription and single ticket sales efficiently using Spektrix ticketing software
- Coordinate with various departments to address patron needs
- Conduct data entry and management tasks related to box office functions
- Manage voicemail and respond to inquiries via phone and email
- Work with management and team to complete various projects
- Assist Front of House Manager with maintaining the ticketing system (Spektrix). Includes event builds, promotions, patron records, reporting, and more as assigned.
- Lead the team of Front of House Associates in the absence of the Front of House Manager or Assistant Front of House Manager
- Support morning student performances, matinee, & evening performances on an as-needed basis
- Assist groups & individuals with entering and exiting the theater
- Coordinate with the Front of House Manager, education department, and other related departments regarding performance needs
- Work closely with stage management and production team before, during, and after performances regarding various start & end times and late patron seating
- Address ADA needs before, during, and after performances
- Accurately produce performance reports
- Monitor volunteer activities and perform necessary tasks as assigned by the
- Lead the team of Front of House Associates in the absence of the Front of House Manager or Assistant Front of House Manager
- Have a professional attitude, appearance, and personality

- Exceptional verbal communication
- Ability to properly record information and produce various reports
- Ability to take direction and problem solve
- Experience in Spektrix or other box office/ticketing software (REQUIRED)
- Experience using Volgistics or other volunteer management software (REQUIRED)
- Be highly proficient in Google G-suite and Microsoft Office software
- Reports directly to the Front of House Manager
- The typical schedule will be Wednesdays-Sundays. The schedule may vary based on events.
- Shifts range from 8 AM start time to 11 PM end time
- Weekends, evenings, and holidays may be required
- Performances for the current season are scheduled through May 2026
- This position is anticipated to work 40 hours per week
