Grants Associate – Orlando Health Foundation
Orlando Health is currently seeking a Foundation Development Associate. This position will provide development support to all areas of the Foundation, but mainly to the Office of Grants Administration. The Foundation Development Associate will become heavily involved in all areas of grants administration at Orlando Health.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
- Manages multiple ongoing areas of responsibility for the benefit of the Orlando Health Foundation. Responsible for managing timelines and planning for assigned grant initiatives.
- Works to ensure excellent customer service and working relationship with team members, vendors, community leaders, funders, volunteers, and customers (i.e., patient families).
- Works with other professionals throughout Orlando Health, especially Foundation and External Affairs, for episodic internal and external special projects as needed and requested.
- Responsible for the grant opportunity follow-up by conducting background research and monitoring approximately 200 program initiatives at the local, state, and national levels.
- Assist in the creation of proposals, including compiling information to validate opportunities and documentation required for submissions.
- Assist with the development of grant and stewardship plans for major funders including government agencies and private foundations.
- Evaluate and update the grant tracking database and assist with creating reports that are used to develop goal reports and submission timelines across Orlando Health.
- Assist with managing on-line and offline grant proposal and deliverable submissions.
- Engages funders and community partners through traditional and digital to ensure information sharing and timely deliverable submissions.
- Generates regular and accurate reports on income and fundraising progress, list maintenance, and lists for proposals.
- Assist in the planning of special meetings with partner organizations.
- Manages expenses for assigned projects to ensure highest financial return to support Orlando Health.
- Represent the Foundation at certain Orlando Health Functions, as well as, outside Community Events for the purpose for raising awareness of the Orlando Health Foundation as well as the mission of Orlando Health.

- Assists with the planning and preparation of proposals and presentations as appropriate.

Experience
One (1) year of related experience required. Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, Internet proficiency and Outlook.
Salary : $50,100 - $63,400
