Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Psychologist to join our dynamic mental health team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and psychological testing to diagnose a wide range of psychological conditions, including neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care for PTSD, and behavioral health interventions.
- Provide counseling sessions across various settings—including outpatient clinics and via telehealth—to support clients with needs.
- Offer crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute mental health episodes or trauma-related disorders, ensuring safety and stabilization.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment progress notes, medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines.
- Supervise clinical interns or junior staff when applicable, providing mentorship and ensuring adherence to professional standards.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Psychologist in the Pennsylvania
- Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, or individuals with disabilities.
- Strong expertise in child & family counseling, school-based mental health services, and telehealth therapy modalities.
- Proficiency in administering psychological testing for diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning purposes.
- Knowledge of evidence-based interventions including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral health strategies for trauma-related disorders, PTSD care, autism spectrum disorders support, and addiction counseling.
- Experience working with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, medical records management, clinical ethical guidelines, and patient confidentiality standards.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage clients across diverse backgrounds while maintaining a compassionate approach.
- Ability to handle crisis situations with professionalism through crisis intervention techniques and trauma-informed care strategies.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
