Role Description
This is a hybrid role with 4 days on-site for an Accounting Manager located in Orlando, FL. The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and maintaining records of financial activities. The role involves closely collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate financial data and support overall organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in General Ledger accounting, Account Reconciliation, and Financial Statement preparation.
- Knowledge of Accounting Software, ERP systems, and Excel (including advanced functions).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of (5) years of experience in accounting (specifically month-end close) with (2) two years of directly managing others and processes; preferably in the sports or entertainment industry.
- Familiarity with GAAP standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
