Responsibilities
- Perform collision repairs including auto body restoration, sheet metal fabrication, and automotive dent repair with precision and efficiency.
- Utilize MIG welding, Spot Welding ,soldering, and automotive welding equipment to repair or replace damaged structural components..
- Install automotive parts, assemblies, and perform auto restoration tasks while adhering to manufacturer specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to shape, repair, or modify vehicle components as needed.
- Apply automotive structural repair methods to restore vehicle integrity following collision damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background working as an automotive body technician.
- Strong proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques.
- Deep mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and automotive parts installation.
- Skilled in auto body repair, auto restoration, and automotive cosmetic repair processes.
- Experience with sheet metal work, Bring vehicle back to manufactures specifications
- Familiarity with automotive welding equipment and automotive parts installation procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with auto estimating abilities for accurate repairs and quotes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate various power tools efficiently.
