What to expect as an Orkin Pro:
- You won’t be tied to a desk. You will be mobile, independent and will be the face of the company in the community.
- When you first join Orkin, you will complete our award winning training program to learn the skills and knowledge required to provide a 5-star service and never disappoint.
- Are you a good driver? As an Orkin Pro, your office will be in the cab of a service vehicle. You will use it to make calls, take it home, and traverse the community safely.

- Be a problem solver and utilize empathy by listening and recommending efficient and innovative solutions.
- You will use a company provided handheld device to complete all required documentation, text, call, and email. Strong communication and writing skills are required.

What is required to be an Orkin Pro:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Some basic math skills, you will need to be able to follow instructions on product labels.
- Good reading, writing, and verbal communication skills are required.
- Orkin pays for your licensing and exams. Your mission is to pass them and maintain them.
- This company is a drug-free workplace, qualified candidates must pass a background check, and drug screening.
The physical demands:
- You must be able to lift 50 pounds, move up to 10-20 pounds frequently and be able to push, pull, and carry objects.
- You will be moving around a lot. In and out of your vehicle, climbing ladders, crawling in crawlspaces, traversing slippery surfaces, and working in confined spaces.
- You must be able to operate a motor vehicle safely and follow all traffic laws.
- You will be required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment when applying product. (This includes a respirator when required.)
- You must be able to work both inside and outside in hot, mild, or cold climates. (Branded apparel is provided.)
