Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care and support to residents in a long-term care facility. The CNA will assist residents with activities of daily living, maintain patient comfort and safety, and work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition, behavior, or vital signs to the nursing staff.
- Measure and record vital signs, intake/output, and other required observations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Assist with meal service and ensure residents receive appropriate nutrition and hydration.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and facility policies.
- Provide emotional support and maintain respectful, compassionate relationships with residents.
- Assist nurses with patient-care activities within the CNA scope of practice.
- Accurately document care provided and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Follow residents’ individualized care plans and facility procedures.
Requirements:
- Current and active CNA certification/license in the applicable state.
- BLS certification preferred/required based on facility requirements.
- Previous experience in Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, Nursing Home, or Geriatric care preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and assist residents with transfers and mobility.
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused approach to care.
CNA: Basic duties including assistance with ADL//'s, bathing and meal set up. We have 2 floors. May float between the two floors.

Shift Information: Nights, 12 hour shifts
Salary : $28 - $36
