Water Treatment Operator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced DAF Field Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating operations in the field, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to protocols.
Job Summary: The Dissolved Air Filtration (DAF) Water Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of DAF systems and other water treatment equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in water treatment, with expertise in DAF technology and a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of water quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Operation: Operate and monitor Dissolved Air Filtration (DAF) systems, ensuring efficient and effective water treatment processes. Adjust system parameters as needed to maintain optimal performance.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on DAF systems and associated equipment. Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues promptly.
- Water Quality Monitoring: Conduct regular testing and analysis of water quality to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company standards. Record and interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with DAF systems, including pump failures, air saturation problems, and system malfunctions. Implement corrective actions to restore system functionality.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system performance, maintenance activities, and repair work. Prepare reports and communicate findings to management as required.
- Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations related to water treatment and DAF system operations. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Customer Interaction: Provide technical support and advice to clients regarding DAF system performance and water treatment practices. Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Training and Development: Stay updated with the latest advancements in water treatment technology and DAF systems through ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience in water treatment or related field, with specific experience in Dissolved Air Filtration (DAF) systems preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating and maintaining DAF systems, as well as understanding water chemistry and filtration processes.
- Problem-Solving: Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to address and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in monitoring, testing, and documenting system performance.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting equipment, working in confined spaces, and handling chemicals safely.
Working Conditions:
- Travel to client sites or project locations will be required.
