Key Responsibilities
Process Engineering
- Design and optimize water and wastewater treatment processes, including activated sludge systems (ASP), biological treatment, and tertiary systems
- Perform process calculations, mass balances, and hydraulic design
- Develop PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams) and P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams)
Equipment & Systems
- Select and size pumps, blowers, valves, and process equipment
- Define and review instrumentation requirements (flow, pressure, level, analyzers)
- Coordinate with mechanical and electrical teams for system integration
- Ensure proper valve selection and control strategies for treatment systems
- Prepare technical reports, design basis documents, and operating manuals
Operations Support
- Assist in plant commissioning and startup activities
- Provide technical support to operations teams
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong knowledge of Filtration activated sludge processes and disinfection.
- Expertise in pump hydraulics, instrumentation, and valve systems
- Proficiency in process simulation tools and engineering software
- Experience with P&IDs, control philosophies, and automation systems
- Solid understanding of project management principles
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical / Environmental / Civil Engineering
- 8 years of experience in water & wastewater treatment
- Experience in industrial and/or municipal projects
Salary : $60 - $120
