Traveling Construction Project Manager (Multi-Family Projects)
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and drive multi-family residential projects from pre-construction through completion. This position requires regular travel every other week (typically 2–4 days at a time) to visit project sites, coordinate with field teams, and ensure successful on-site execution. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience managing large-scale multi-family developments and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all phases of multi-family construction projects across multiple locations.
- Travel to project sites bi-weekly to oversee construction progress, conduct site meetings, and support field operations.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and documentation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Lead and communicate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company quality expectations.
- Identify project challenges and implement proactive solutions to maintain progress and performance.
- Provide detailed project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in construction project management, preferably with multi-family or commercial projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and coordinate remote teams.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, scheduling, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (Procore, MS Project, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Willingness and ability to travel every other week for short durations as required by project needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
