Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ needs across behavioral health, addiction, child welfare, and social services.
- Participate in developing personalized care plans that incorporate evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing and crisis intervention techniques.
- Provide ongoing support through, mentoring, and crisis management to help clients stabilize their situations.
- Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting care strategies as needed to promote long-term success.
- Document all interactions thoroughly while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Supervise or mentor direct care staff or interns when applicable, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on client-centered care.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in social work, behavioral health, addiction counseling, or related fields with a focus on crisis intervention and crisis management.
- Strong knowledge of residential juvenile systems, and workforce development initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage diverse populations through techniques like motivational interviewing.
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and effectively during crises or emergencies.
- Supervising experience or mentoring skills are preferred to support team growth and quality service delivery.
- Familiarity with childcare services and experience working with juvenile male populations is advantageous.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
