The Role: Independent Contractor We are seeking a driven Licensed Real Estate Salesperson to join our team on-site in East Islip, NY. As an associate of Orion Realty Group, you will operate as a key representative of our brand, upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.
- Client Representation: Act as the primary fiduciary for clients in the buying, selling, and leasing of properties. You will guide clients through the entire transaction lifecycle, from initial consultation to closing.
- Market Analysis & Valuation: Utilize comparative market analysis (CMA) and deep knowledge of local trends to advise clients on pricing strategies and investment viability.
- Contract Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate purchase agreements, leases, and contingencies to protect client interests while ensuring compliance with New York State laws.
- Lead Generation: Proactively build and maintain a book of business through networking, open houses, and digital marketing strategies.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to New York State Department of State (DOS) regulations, Fair Housing laws, and Orion Realty Group’s internal operational guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensure: Active New York State Real Estate Salesperson or Associate Broker license is mandatory.
- Experience: Proven knowledge of Real Property transactions and general property market trends. Prior track record in sales is preferred.
- Skills: Strong negotiation capabilities, customer service excellence, and the ability to work independently.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with MLS platforms (OneKey, LIBOR), electronic signature software, and CRM tools.
- Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Long Island (Suffolk/Nassau) and NYC (Queens/Brooklyn/Bronx) markets.
- Professionalism: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple active files simultaneously.
