Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV to oversee activity and identify potential security threats.
- Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Conduct thorough patrols of the premises to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry.
- Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed.
- Perform first aid and CPR when necessary to assist injured individuals until professional help arrives.
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism using conflict management skills to de-escalate tensions.
- Complete detailed incident reports and shift logs to document security activities and incidents accurately.
Experience
- Prior experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques including CCTV operation and loss prevention strategies.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required.
- Familiarity with conflict management practices and emergency response protocols.
