Job Description
- Manage complex litigation matters from initial case strategy through resolution.
- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, briefs, and other court filings.
- Take and defend depositions, oversee discovery, and work with witnesses and experts.
- Develop litigation strategies alongside partners and clients.
- Prepare for and participate in hearings, trials, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
- Conduct sophisticated legal research and provide practical, strategic guidance.
- Collaborate with colleagues and help mentor junior attorneys.
Qualifications
- 3 years of relevant litigation experience, ideally involving complex civil or criminal matters.
- J.D. from an accredited law school and Missouri Bar admission or eligibility for prompt admission.
- Strong legal writing, motion practice, discovery, and deposition experience.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
- Ability to independently manage cases, deadlines, and client relationships.
- Judicial clerkship, trial, or arbitration experience is a plus.
