Job Description
- Manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing.
- Prepare, review, and organize real estate transactional documents.
- Coordinate with attorneys, clients, lenders, brokers, title companies, and other parties throughout the closing process.
- Conduct title review, due diligence, lien searches, and document verification.
- Prepare loan packages, closing documents, title insurance documentation, and recording packages.
- Track transaction deadlines and maintain organized electronic and physical files.
- Ensure compliance with firm procedures and applicable real estate regulations.
- Utilize legal practice management software and Microsoft Office to maintain accurate records.
- Deliver exceptional client service while working in a collaborative legal team environment.
Qualifications
- 1 year of real estate paralegal experience.
- Experience supporting residential real estate transactions; commercial real estate experience is a plus.
- Strong legal document drafting and document review skills.
- Knowledge of title insurance, closings, and due diligence.
- Experience coordinating with lenders, title companies, brokers, and clients.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
- Paralegal certificate, related degree, or equivalent practical experience preferred.
