Job Description
- Manage all stages of personal injury litigation, including Labor Law, slip-and-fall, and motor vehicle accident cases.
- Conduct trials, take cases to verdict, and handle courtroom appearances across multiple counties.
- Assess case merit, liability, and value, and determine coverage and medical needs.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and all related legal documents.
- Represent clients in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, motion hearings, and trial proceedings.
- Negotiate settlements at various litigation phases.
- Provide strategic guidance to clients and maintain consistent communication.
- Conduct legal research and prepare detailed legal analyses.
- Manage multiple deadlines, court appearances, and case-related administrative requirements.
Qualifications
- At least five years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.
- Strong, proven trial experience with the ability to take cases to verdict.
- Licensed and in good standing with the New York State Bar.
- Excellent writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Strong client communication and relationship-building skills.
