Location: Mt. Pleasant, SC — This is an in-office opportunity designed for attorneys who enjoy working collaboratively with their legal team. Occasional remote work may be available, but this role is not fully remote.
Note: An active South Carolina Bar license and at least 1 year of litigation experience are required. Insurance defense experience is preferred, but strong litigation attorneys from other practice areas are encouraged to apply.

Job Description
- Manage litigation matters from initial investigation through case resolution.
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
- Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, mediations, and other litigation proceedings.
- Work closely with clients, attorneys, and industry professionals to develop effective case strategies.
- Conduct legal research and prepare clear, persuasive written work.
- Manage multiple matters, deadlines, and priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with clients and legal professionals throughout the life of each case.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment while taking ownership of assigned matters.
Qualifications
- Active South Carolina Bar license.
- 1 year of litigation experience.
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organization and ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Insurance defense experience is preferred but not required.
