Location
This is an on-site role based in Charlotte, NC. Team members may earn up to 2 work-from-home days per month after meeting monthly KPIs, but this is not a remote position.
Note
Candidates must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina and should have family law experience. Bilingual Spanish is a plus, and strong bilingual attorneys from other practice areas may be considered for training and mentorship.

Job Description
- Manage a family law caseload from intake through resolution.
- Advise clients on divorce, custody, support, equitable distribution, and related family law matters.
- Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in hearings, mediations, negotiations, and court proceedings.
- Develop case strategy with a client-centered, practical, and solutions-focused approach.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients during emotionally sensitive matters.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to move cases forward efficiently.
- Mentor and guide legal support staff as needed.
- Maintain strong organization, deadlines, case notes, and ethical compliance.
- Contribute to a team culture built on accountability, initiative, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina Bar license required.
- Family law experience strongly preferred.
- Litigation, negotiation, and courtroom experience preferred.
- Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
- Strong writing, communication, and client service skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive legal matters with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment.
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
