Job Description
- Handle commercial and insurance defense litigation matters through all phases of the case.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
- Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive legal memoranda.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Argue motions in state and federal courts.
- Participate in evidentiary hearings and other court proceedings.
- Interview clients and witnesses and gather relevant case information.
- Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas.
- Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with applicable court rules and legal requirements.
Qualifications
- Active New Hampshire Bar license.
- 1 year of litigation experience.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Court appearance and deposition experience preferred.
- Writing sample required.
