Position SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Oakwood team. The PTA will work closely with our team and licensed physical therapists to provide individualized, evidence-based care to a diverse patient population. This role offers the opportunity to grow within a practice that values teamwork, education, and the art and science of hands-on therapy.
• Deliver physical therapy interventions under the supervision and direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement and progress individualized treatment plans, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Document patient care and progress accurately and efficiently in accordance with clinic standards.
• Assist in patient education, emphasizing self-management, movement literacy, and wellness strategies.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional clinical environment.
• Support Orion’s philosophy by integrating clinical expertise, compassionate care, and continual learning.
• Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and performance staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications• Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Ohio PTA license (required).
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Interest or experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, or performance-based rehabilitation preferred.
• Part-Time, Hourly Position with potential advancement to Full-Time, Salaried.
