Responsibilities
- Install new irrigation systems, including piping, sprinklers, valves, and controllers using hand tools and power tools.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with existing irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance such as system inspections, adjustments, and repairs to prevent water wastage or system failure.
- Collaborate with landscape teams to integrate irrigation solutions seamlessly into landscape designs.
- Operate equipment such as excavators for trenching or installing underground piping where necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, system layouts, and repair logs for future reference.
- Assist with general lawn care, landscape maintenance, and horticultural tasks to support overall site health.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand hydraulic irrigation systems and components.
- Experience with irrigation installation, repair, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Knowledge of lawn care practices and landscape maintenance principles.
