Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle cash and operate a Point of Sale (POS) system effectively. We are willing to train, no need for experience.
Duties
- Operate the POS system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Handle cash transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and balancing at the end of shifts.
- Assist with stocking shelves and merchandising products to enhance store presentation.
- Conduct product demonstrations to promote sales and engage customers.
- Utilize upselling techniques to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area and surrounding displays.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Experience
- Familiarity with basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Experience in supervising staff is a plus, as well as proficiency in phone etiquette for customer interactions.

Job Type: Part-time
Base Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
