Staff Liaison

Skilled Nurisng facility in Central MA is looking for a full-time Staff Liaison to join our team! The Staff Liaison is responsible for the Nursing Department Schedule, ensuring the facility is appropriately and accurately staffed according to PPD. This position works in conjunction with the Nursing Department Payroll clerk to ensure payroll data is accurate. The Scheduling Coordinator must be able to maintain confidentiality, possess a professional demeanor and be able to communicate effectively in this fast-paced, challenging position. 

Hours: 7:30am- 4:00pm

Pay Range: $22.17- 28.50/hr

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

Staffing: 

1. Completes & maintains Master Nursing Schedule on scheduling software. Including updates master schedule with prior day changes.
2. Adjust nursing schedule daily in accordance with census & budget; monitors all overtime and over shift work.
3. Maintains vacation schedule, obtaining approvals from D N S.
4. Responsible for completion and upkeep of Daily Assignment Boards.
5. Replace staff call outs with minimal overtime and agency.
6. Call Nurse Aide Registry annually for all employees to ensure all staff follows all DPH licensing mandates.
7. Completes daily reports for time and attendance accuracy.

Agency:

1. Ensures agency license is valid prior to booking agency staff
2. Follow all Policies and procedures for agency staff.

Human Resources:

1. Assists employees with general HR information, including but not limited to: FMLA, Benefits, UKG, 401k; direct employees as needed to HR department.
2. Familiar with general company rules, practices and policies as stated in the employee handbook and/or facility practice.
3. Assists departments with Workers Compensation.
4. Updates HR department of staffing needs & changes.
