Role Description
We are seeking a Designer I for a full-time position located on-site in Brownsville, TX. As a Designer I, you will support the creation of architectural plans and project designs, assist with drafting, and collaborate with team members to ensure the timely delivery of design milestones. Additional duties include preparing project presentations, conducting site visits, and ensuring design concepts align with client and company goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Vectorworks, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles and drafting
- Effective collaboration and communication skills to work within multidisciplinary teams
- Time management and organization skills to complete projects within deadlines
- Associate degree is required; Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field is preferred
- Experience with real estate development projects is a plus
- Ability to interpret and analyze site plans and construction documents
