We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced culinary environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff.
• Support bussing efforts by clearing tables and transporting dirty dishes to the dishwashing area.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained according to health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak service times.
• Adhere to food handling and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus.
• Experience in banquet service or catering environments is advantageous.
• Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining a sanitary workspace.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
