Job Summary

Duties
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems like Aloha and Micros
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cashiering duties with precision
- Prepare and serve food items according to safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary, including basic cooking or assembly
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area, counters, and workstations through bussing and sanitation practices
- Follow food safety protocols related to handling, storage, and serving of food products
- Support team members in various restaurant operations including kitchen assistance and food handling
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, quick service, or fast food restaurant preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment with excellent time management skills
- Experience with food preparation or culinary tasks is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience in retail math or grocery store operations is beneficial but not mandatory
