What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Original Footwear Manufacturing?
SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including shipping and receiving, unloading and loading trucks, fulfilling sales orders, and assisting in IT/shipping systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Perform warehouse operations, specifically pick/pack/ship activities,
· Monitors shipping systems
· Receive trucks and unload merchandise,
· Process receipted product according to SOP,
· Stock warehouse with product,
· Fulfill customer orders,
· Move items from pick locations and package for shipment,
· Follow all SOPs and safety codes,
· Perform facilities maintenance,
· Identify damage or loss of product stored in the warehouse,
· Carry out tasks as assigned by the warehouse supervisor / manager.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
· Participate in inventory control and logistics projects as they arise,
· Other duties, as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES):
· 1 - 3 years of work experience in a Warehousing and Distribution environment,
· Customer orientation; achieving Company, department, and personal goals through a strong customer focus,
· Good communication skills (telephone and email) are essential,
· Team player with proven ability to work well under deadlines,
· Working knowledge of various vendor shipping applications,
· Strong work ethic,
· NetSuite experience,

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
