What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Physical Therapist position at Origin Therapy?
Earn $70–100 /hour – a few families on the side, or a practice of your own.
Origin gives PTs everything they need to see their own private patients – we handle credentialing, billing, marketing, and software, so you can focus on delivering high-quality care. We work with 100 therapists and are growing quickly.
Two ways in – one is just the beginning of the other:
- Independent Therapist: See 1 to 10 families a week at rates you set. No minimums, no pressure to grow, start within days.
- Private Practice Owner: Build a practice of your own – priority referrals, a written growth plan, and a full caseload worth $100K per year. Most of our owners started while still employed.
What we offer:
- Rates: Earn $70–100 /hour across insurance and private pay – you set your own private-pay rates and keep them.
- Autonomy: Choose the patients you want to see – not the patients you don't.
- Flexibility: Set your own schedule with complete control.
- Insurance: Take insurance without the hassle – we handle everything related to credentialing & billing.
- Patients: We fill your caseload for you – families near you are matched to you by specialty, location, and availability, and you review and accept every referral before it joins your schedule.
- Software: Run your business without the headache with our EMR designed for pediatric therapy.
- Freedom: No membership fees, no out-of-pocket expenses, no caseload minimums.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate-level Physical Therapist (DPT)
- Licensed in Virginia, or willing to obtain a license
- Must be able to practice independently without supervision
- Willing to see patients in-person (homes, daycares, and schools)
- 1 year of pediatric experience
How it works
- 1. Apply: Apply on Indeed or our website (origintherapy.com/providers)
- 2. Interview: Interview with our team, and tell us which way in fits your life right now.
- 3. Launch: Get started in as little as 14 days.
- 4. Start seeing patients: Stay a few families strong, or grow it into your practice.
We're on a mission to empower pediatric therapists to build thriving practices and fulfilling lives. Join the community of independent therapists powered by Origin.
