Position Summary:
Origin Point Brands is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Manufacturing Supply Planner to join our supply chain team. The Manufacturing Supply Planner is responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels by creating efficient supply plans based on demand forecasts, production capacity, and procurement timelines. This role works closely with sales, operations, production, and logistics to maintain product availability while minimizing excess inventory and supply disruptions. Relocation is not available for this position, and the role is required to be onsite at our Summerville, S.C. headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain supply plans based on demand forecasts, safety stock levels, and lead times.
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment actions to meet customer service targets and inventory goals.
- Generate Purchase Orders within ERP system.
- Update and maintain PO costs, tariffs, or any changes related to product specifications in NetSuite
- Reviewing and analyzing landed cost
- Collaborate with factories and overseas teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and finished goods.
- Identify and manage supply constraints, proactively resolving potential shortages or overages.
- Pull and analyze planning data from ERP systems to accurately updated supply chain reports.
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Support the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process by providing supply insights and scenario planning.
- Manage and track supplier invoices to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Maintain planning data accuracy in ERP or supply chain planning systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Operations, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or inventory management.
- Proficient in Excel and supply planning tools (e.g., NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory control, and lead time management.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that allows them to work for the United States.
- Experience in the manufacturing, distribution and/or warehouse industry is strongly preferred.
Working Conditions:
